Discouragement is one of the biggest tools that the enemy uses to distract us as believers from seeing the hand of God in the midst of adversity. Whenever you are doing something positive to uplift others, making a stance to confront evil, or taking the high road when someone curses you, it is critical to be aware that an attack will come because you are a threat to the enemy's kingdom.
Satan will tempt you with a devastating trial that can sometimes lead to a series of back-to-back problems to make you question whether doing right was "the right" thing to do. Of course, it is the devil's plan to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), and his main tactic is discouragement. But please make a mental note that Satan does not have the authority to harm you and needs God's permission to test you (Job 1:8-12). God does not cause evil upon His children but He will allow us to go through times of testing for His glory to be revealed on earth.
God uses obstacles as opportunities to show He is Omnipotent (All-Powerful). No matter how difficult the "test" refuse to allow Satan's tactic of discouragement to question your good morals.
Food For Thought: Think of the cliche: "Looks are deceiving"; remember this when Satan present lies to you that are contrary to God's word and promises to you. Ignore the bait of Satan!
